Vi Sharpe MSW, RSW, Sp. Director is a registered social worker offering counselling services to families and individuals for over 35 years. She is also a qualified Spiritual Director. She considers it a privilege and honour to accompany those facing end-of-life issues, death and bereavement, the most vulnerable yet transformative transitions in life. As grief affects each one of us deeply, Vi is dedicated to offering compassionate and insightful supportive counselling through the journey of loss and grief towards a deeper sense of healing.

Pattie Ann Pryma

Counsellor

Pattie Ann is a Registered Nurse working in Alberta since 1999. With her focus area of nursing being Mental Health she has worked with many individuals, families and groups facing grief and loss as well as a variety of other life transitional issues. She has done additional training in Art Therapy, and Multicultural Care as well as completing her PhD in Mental Health Nursing. In addition to her work with individuals, Pattie Ann teaches nursing at a local university. Her many years of experience as a registered nurse and travelling her own path through grief and loss gives her a unique ability to work with clients where they are at, and see individuals as unique while walking along side, assisting them on their own life-journey. She lives and works through an inclusive LGBTQ2 lens.

Pansy Angevine

Counsellor

Passionate about journeying with people living with grief and loss, in a way that honours their journey and their unique personhood, Pansy is a Registered Nurse with over 30 years’ experience (20 years focused in palliative and end of life care). Her commitment to ongoing training helps Pansy to have a wide range of approaches to support and empower individuals, families and groups. With cultural sensitivity and inclusiveness, Pansy will accompany you with compassion and thoughtfulness, on your unique path of healing. Pansy also currently manages a hospice and teaches professionals, volunteers and general public about end of life.

Ken Farthing

Ken Farthing

Counsellor

Ken is a Registered Psychiatric Nurse with 40+ years of experience in Mental Health, including mental health knowledge,individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, student mentoring, and management. He is pleased to become part of the Solace Grief Support Society team, to offer support and expertise to the community.
