About Us
Solace Grief Support Society (SGSS) is a non-profit organization, centered in the Foothills County, Alberta and the surrounding area. We help individuals deal with personal loss and grieving by providing group, individual and family counselling free-of-charge. We also hold public education events and provide advocacy.
SGSS is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors and operated through donated funds from community organizations and individuals. We take online donations here, and issue tax receipts for all gifts over $20.

To guide and support people through grief to restore health and wellbeing: no-one should grieve alone.
Solace Grief Support offers individual or group sessions in towns within the Foothills County. Sessions may be in-person, in a group setting or online via ZOOM. For a complete listing of our counselling services, click here.
